Job summary

Empire Roofing Corporation in Windsor, Ontario seeks an experienced Skilled Roofing Service Technician to join our team, handling inspections, repairs, and maintenance on commercial roofing systems with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs on TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal systems, and contribute to documentation while advancing your career with a trusted contractor serving Canada and the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience with TPO roofing systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in various weather conditions.
• Valid Working at Heights Certification.
• Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and in the field.

Responsibilities

• Inspect commercial roofing systems for leaks, damage, and deficiencies.
• Diagnose roofing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, and other commercial roofing systems.
• Apply sealants, patches, coatings, and waterproofing solutions.
• Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and photographs.
• Maintain company quality and safety standards on every project.
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
• Assist with emergency service calls and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe and organized manner.
