Salary: $140,000 – $160,000+ (commensurate with experience)

A growing and dynamic law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Lawyer to join its expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions while being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will manage a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development projects. You will work closely with institutional and corporate clients, providing strategic legal advice to support their business objectives and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and due diligence.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and development-related contracts.
  • Oversee complex transactions from start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely legal services.
  • Contribute to firm-wide growth initiatives and client development efforts as the firm continues to expand.
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of experience practicing commercial real estate law.
  • Strong background with institutional clients or experience in a large or mid-sized law firm.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
