Role

Tenaris is looking for a Commercial Planning Analyst (internal Title: Marketing Analyst) to join our Planning team in our Calgary Downtown Office.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze the Canadian Oil & Gas market dynamics, customer trends, and competitor activity to identify risks and opportunities for Tenaris.
  • Monitor imports, trading trends, pricing movements, and market share evolution, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the commercial budget and sales forecast; track performance vs forecast and explain key deviations.
  • Prepare periodic market reports, dashboards, and presentations to support commercial strategy discussions.
  • Work closely with the commercial and technical sales teams to align market insights.
  • Contribute to enhancing analytical tools, databases, and methodologies for more efficient reporting and forecasting.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Science or Engineering
  • Experience in oil and gas or manufacturing industry preferred but not limited to
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exposure to Power BI
