Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Commercial Manager for a global Construction & Infrastructure client in Toronto. The role focuses on contract variations, forecasting, risk assessment, and maintaining change management plans.

You will collaborate with PMs, leadership, contractors, and consultants to manage variation impacts, cost forecasts, and documentation, bringing 8–10 years PM experience and strong contract-reading skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–10 years construction PM experience, large infrastructure.
• 3–5 years commercial experience in contract/change management.
• Strong contract-reading ability and contract law familiarity.
• Exposure to estimating and schedule analysis.

• Support cost/budget forecasting tied to variations (works alongside a separate cost team)
• Conduct risk assessment on variations
• Maintain variation records/documentation; report to senior management
• Own the variations management plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 8–10 years construction PM experience, large infrastructure (rail/transit preferred)
• 3–5 years commercial experience specifically in contract/change management
• Strong contract-reading ability and contract law familiarity
• Exposure to estimating and schedule analysis
