Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll install, maintain, and repair commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and related components. You'll ensure high-quality workmanship, promote a safe job site, and deliver excellent customer experiences.

This position works both independently and as part of a professional team, handling a variety of HVAC tasks from installation to troubleshooting.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, day shift (8 hours per day)
Overtime may be available based on project workload.

Licenses & Certifications
  • Journeyman HVAC License
  • EPA Certification a plus
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and service commercial HVAC systems and components.
  • Cut, thread, and prepare piping using pipe cutters, torches, and threading equipment.
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC-related assemblies.
  • Mount and secure HVAC units; rough-in and finish duct systems.
  • Wire control systems according to schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Test system performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of hands‑on HVAC experience, preferably in commercial environments.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to install, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to pass background and drug screening requirements.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working in a variety of weather conditions.
Work Environment

Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including active construction sites. Conditions may involve:

  • Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity
  • Working from elevated positions or confined spaces
  • Moderate to loud noise levels

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more safely.
  • Reaching, kneeling, and crouching as needed to complete installations and repairs.
