Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems in Rivière-Saint-Jean, Quebec is seeking a driven HVAC Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will commission, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and ventilation systems, working outdoors in various conditions. The position includes extensive formal training and mentoring to fully develop your skills with CaptiveAire products. You will need to lift heavy equipment and travel for training opportunities. We offer a competitive salary starting at $65k CAD plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or relevant experience required.
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems is a plus.
• Must be able to work in tight spaces and on rooftops.

Responsibilities

• Commission new HVAC systems and ventilation equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot existing HVAC equipment.
• Develop and maintain service schedules.
• Prepare and submit daily job reports and invoices.

Job description

Position Summary

Seeking a driven and motivated HVAC Technician to join our service team focusing on commissioning, repairing, and maintaining our equipment. This position involves diagnosing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC and ventilation systems at different sites. Field Service Technicians should be comfortable working in outside conditions and using ladders.

Position will involve extensive formalized training plus work under a mentor, developing skills and gaining an understanding of CaptiveAire products.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment
• Repair, replace and trouble‑shoot existing HVAC equipment
• Develop and maintain service schedule
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily
• Mise en marche de nouveaux systèmes de ventilation et d’équipements de CVAC
• Réparation, remplacement et diagnostic d’équipements CVAC existants
• Développement et maintien de programme de maintenances programmées
• Préparation et soumission de rapports de travail et de facturation
• Vente et développement de service de maintenances préventives à de nouveaux ou clients existants

Required Skills

• HVAC, HVAC/R skill set desired

Salary

Base salary starting at $65k CAD, negotiable based on experience, plus monthly bonus based upon productivity and profits.
