Insight Global is looking for a Commercial Director to join our client in the consumer product e-commerce industry on a 12-month contract. This is a fully remote role and has the possibility of extending beyond the initial 12-months or converting to a permanent, full-time employee. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 8-years of experience and come from a Direct-to-Consumer or eCommerce background. Within the role, you'll be taking the brand from ground zero and leading strategies to grow the brand and product across Canada. You should also understand the drivers of an online funnel and how a customer will move through those different funnels to be a loyal customer to build a community. Your main goal in the role is to develop business cases to support company initiatives and increase the overall brand awareness by partnering with local businesses. You should have experience with BI tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau to be able to interpret market data and brand consensus. It would be a plus if the successful candidate has prior experience within Shopify.

Must Haves
  • 8+ years' experience, ideally growing brands from the ground up
  • A minimum of 3-years' experience working within DTC eCommerce
  • Experience creating go-to market strategies for consumer brands
  • Strong knowledge of the drivers of online funnels and how customers move through those funnels to be repeat customers
  • Experience working within BI tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau
