Responsibilities
  • Generate new commercial business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
  • Build and grow a personal portfolio of mid‑to‑large commercial clients
  • Conduct discovery meetings, assess client needs, and deliver tailored insurance solutions
  • Collaborate with internal underwriting, marketing, and support teams to prepare submissions and place business
  • Maintain strong client relationships focused on long‑term retention and growth
  • Participate in ongoing performance meetings, sales coaching, and production planning
  • Uphold high professional standards, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service delivery
Qualifications
  • RIBO license required
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial insurance sales/production experience (senior candidates strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance markets and carrier appetites
  • Track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable operating in a results‑driven environment
  • Existing book of business is an asset but not mandatory
