Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie is seeking a Commercial Cleaner (Independent) for part-time evening shifts in Barrie, ON. The role covers cleaning at 8-740 Huronia Road, Barrie, with on-site duties and a focus on delivering ServiceMaster Clean standards.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, disinfecting kitchens and bathrooms, taking out trash, and assisting customers with a professional attitude. On-the-job training is provided; prior experience not required.

Qualifications

• Secondary School Certificate is an asset.
• Experience is not necessary, will provide on the job training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive professional attitude with customers and fellow workers.
• Be on time for all shifts.
• Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a professional image.
• Adhere to ServiceMaster Clean standards and paperwork processes.
• Report hazards immediately and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Clock in/out accurately and notify the office of errors.
• Perform services as scheduled in warehouse/office/field and attend training events.
• Utilize a Helper when assigned and never leave a building while clocked in.

Role: Commercial Cleaner (Independent)

Shift: 5pm - midnight

Location: 8 - 740 Huronia Road, Barrie, ON

ServiceMaster Clean of Barrie, Orillia & Collingwood is looking to build their cleaning team. Our cleaning teams consist of members who work together providing customers with the ServiceMaster Clean standard.

Part time, evening shifts currently available. Perfect for students or picking up a few extra hours after your full time job.

Job Description

• Sweep, mop and wash floors.
• Dust desks, phones and all surface areas.
• Vacuum carpeting and area rugs.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen.
• Clean, disinfect and polish bathrooms.
• Pick up debris and empty trash & recycling containers
• Address customers' complaints or concerns

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive professional attitude with customers and fellow workers.
• Be on time for all shifts.
• Work in accordance to the health & safety procedures.
• Maintain a professional image.
• Adhere to the ServiceMaster Clean standards.
• Ensure paperwork standards are adhered to.
• Follow all policies and procedures set in place by the Company.
• Report any hazard you may encounter immediately.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and report any problems.
• Complete clock in and out entries for time keeping and notify the office of any errors.
• Perform service as requested in warehouse/office/field.
• Attend all scheduled training events.
• Perform all cleaning and services on their scheduled day without supervision.
• Utilize a Helper when assigned.
• Never leave a building or company premises while still clocked in.
• Prepare and maintain janitors closet for use and in accordance with ServiceMaster standards.
