Job summary

Generations Cleaning is seeking a reliable Commercial Building Cleaner for an evening, part-time role in Markham, ON. Duties include cleaning washrooms, lobbies, suites, and common areas to keep offices safe and welcoming.

You will vacuum, mop, dust, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs while following safety standards. Requires physical stamina and consistent punctuality for the 6:00pm–10:00pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs, and repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• As a Commercial Building Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial office buildings.
• Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms.
• Cleaning lobbies, entrances, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other common areas.
• Cleaning tenant office suites.
• Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors.
• Dusting surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
• Emptying garbage and recycling bins.
• Restocking washroom and janitorial consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.).
• Spot cleaning glass, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages.
• Following all company safety procedures and cleaning standards.
