Job description

We’re seeking an Analytics & Insights Lead to support complex customer and utility reporting needs while partnering with Product to design scalable, long-term solutions and shape the roadmap for our data and reporting productes. This role plays a critical part in translating bespoke reporting requests into repeatable insights and helping retire manual workflows over time.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role working across Analytics, Product, Customer Success, and external partners—including direct interaction with customers to clarify reporting needs, explain insights, and ensure alignment on data outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill complex, short-term reporting requests for utilities and enterprise customers
  • Triangulate data across internal systems (e.g., platform + BI tools)
  • Identify patterns in ad hoc requests and document recurring needs as inputs to product requirements
  • Partner with Product to:
  • Define canonical metrics
  • Validate data models
  • Inform reporting roadmap decisions
  • Create interim standardized templates where possible
  • Improve documentation and data definitions used by internal teams
  • Help reduce reliance on bespoke reporting over time
  • Serve as a customer-facing analytics resource—responding to questions, clarifying requirements, and communicating insights in a clear, approachable way

This role is expected to evolve over time from fulfilling complex reporting requests to owning the product roadmap for standardized insights and reporting – including metric definitions and executive facing analysis – as reporting becomes productized. For the right candide, this is a path toward product management for our data products.

What Success Looks Like
  • Fewer “net-new” reporting requests each quarter
  • Faster turnaround on remaining requests
  • Clear documentation of metrics and definitions
  • Seamless handoff of repeatable insights into productized reporting
  • A clear, prioritized view of which reporting needs should be built into the product
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in analytics, data science, or BI roles
  • 2+ years in the EV Charging/eMobility space.
  • Strong BI experience (Domo preferred)
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers or external stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and imperfect data
  • Strong communicator—can explain data tradeoffs clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to handle customer-facing communication, including clarifying requests, gathering requirements, and translating technical data concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Interest in growing toward product management – i.e. translating recurring customer needs into product requirements – is a strong plus
