Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and partnership to the Commercial Insurance Account Executive
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by offering expert advice and helping clients understand their insurance coverage
  • Receive and process all incoming commercial documentation
  • Assist with quotes, review existing coverages and ensure customer files are accurate and up to date
  • Prepare and submit documentation to insurers, complete applications for new clients and issue insurance certificates
  • Process endorsements, invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Liaise with insurance companies and negotiate with underwriters to secure optimal terms for clients
  • Follow up with adjusters on claim status and ensure clear timely communication with clients
  • Gather and provide additional information required by underwriters to support applications and renewals
Qualifications
  • High School and / or Post-Secondary Education
  • 35 years of experience in commercial insurance
  • RIBO License (required)
  • Experience with Epic is an asset
  • Previous sales experience is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
