A leading insurance brokerage in Canada seeks a seasoned insurance sales professional skilled in developing and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial insurance sales and a Level 2 General Insurance License. Join a team dedicated to client service and community engagement, and leverage your expertise to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
In this role, you’ll use your commercial insurance expertise and relationship-building skills to expand an established book of business. Working closely with an experienced Account Manager, you’ll provide clients with tailored insurance solutions while ensuring a first-class experience at every touchpoint.
Develop new commercial client relationships and strengthen existing ones.
Advise clients on insurance products, coverages, and risk management strategies.
Prepare and present new business submissions to insurers and close sales opportunities.
Partner with your Account Manager to deliver seamless client service.
Follow up on client accounts, ensuring timely payments and outstanding issue resolution.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
Build your professional network through active community involvement.
Achieve and exceed personal sales objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends, insurer offerings, and new products.
Continue your professional development through training and ongoing education.
Handle client concerns with professionalism and care.
Proven success in commercial insurance sales.
A proactive approach to developing new business and expanding existing accounts.
Strong relationship-building skills within your community and client network.
A confident, professional presence in client meetings.
Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively with team members and external partners.
Comfort with structured processes and accountability.
Familiarity with modern technology; experience using Epic is an asset.
Solid understanding of insurer products, programs, and payment options.
Active or in-progress Level 2 General Insurance License.
