Job description
Come Catch A Fish - Fishing Program Assistant

At Fishability, with the help of our amazing volunteers and specially modified rods, reels, and vessels, we create safe, inclusive fishing experiences for children and adults living with disabilities. Our year-round program runs regular jetty and boat sessions across the Perth metro area and beyond.

We’re on the lookout for volunteers to lend a hand. You’ll help with setting up gear, baiting hooks, casting lines, and caring for the catch. No pro fishing skills needed – just patience, enthusiasm, and a willingness to support others.

To better support our growing community, we’re now running two metro programs – North and South of the river – each fully equipped with trailers, fishing gear, safety and rescue equipment, and everything needed for a great day on the water.

If you’re hooked already, reel in a rewarding role. If you enjoy sharing your skills, supporting independence, and seeing someone light up when they catch their first fish, this could be the perfect catch for you!
