Position Summary
Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Combined Laboratory Transfusion Medicine Services and X-Ray Technologist to join our Medical Laboratory Department at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp, BC. About the Job
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, within the context of client-centred care, and in accordance with departmental policies, the Combined Laboratory Transfusion Medicine Services and X-Ray Technologist (CLTMSXT) performs a variety of routine, x-ray, ECG, core laboratory, and transfusion medicine procedures. The position is also responsible for functions such as greeting patients, collecting and/or receiving specimens, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and related computer systems/programs, validating, and reporting test results, maintaining instruments, and preparing solutions and control agents, performing routine and preventative maintenance of equipment, and troubleshooting equipment problems as required. This position works in a team-based environment and under general supervision of an Operations Supervisor or Professional Practice Leader.

This is a Permanent Part Time (0.86) opportunity.
