Job Details

Servers and Buffet Attendants provide upbeat, professional service that goes above and beyond our guests' expectations. The position is located at 93 Icefields Pky, Jasper, AB. It is a seasonal, full-time role with morning or evening shifts.

Compensation

Pay: $16.50 per hour.

Benefits

Responsibilities

• Coordinating guests and tour groups in the dining area
• Maintaining cleanliness of guest areas
• Operating the point of sale system accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
• Providing table service, function service, hosting, food running, bartending, etc.
• Maintaining a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
• Providing guests with exceptional service at all times
• Stocking and maintaining product levels
• Ensuring correct cash and float security during operating hours
• Attending and serving during buffet time (lunch), which includes bussing tables, resting tables, and assisting the kitchen with restocking buffet line
• Communicating with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion
• Upholding the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be excited at the idea of living and working in a remote, yet very social, environment
• Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated
• Basic knowledge of the distilling process of each main spirit group (vodka, rum, gin, whiskies, etc.)
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment
• Always properly groomed
• At least 1+ year bar experience, with a minimum of 6 months working in a busy restaurant environment
• Customer service oriented
• Positive attitude and a go-getter mindset
• Able to lift at least 15 pounds
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Proserve qualifications
• Flexible with work schedule (morning & evening shifts)
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance and professional appearance, and meet the organization grooming and appearance standards

Work Environment

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by Canadian Rockies. It is remote with trees, lakes, and blue-bird skies. The work is busy, requiring walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance). Teamwork is essential; duties may change based on team and company needs.
