Job summary

Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (IMCO) seeks an Associate, Collateral Management to oversee collateral movements, settle trades timely and prepare daily collateral reports. You will collaborate with Investments, Risk, and Finance across internal and external stakeholders to minimize counterparty credit risk.

The role requires 3–5 years in capital markets, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office and banking applications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in financial industry preferable Capital Markets.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Capital Market products, trade systems and business lines.
• Investment designations (e.g., CFA, CAIA) would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily collateral reports to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor daily margin requirements for Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC Derivatives and Repos.
• Process all cash and non-cash collateral to ensure timely settlement.
• Monitor collateral inventory to maintain liquidity.
• Prepare credit facilities and letters of credit requests.
• Collaborate on projects related to regulatory initial margin.
