Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Intermediate Coastal Engineer to join its Canadian Coastal Engineering team. You will apply coastal engineering principles, coastal hydrodynamics, geomorphology and wave theory to support and lead coastal projects across Canada.

The role involves coordinating with engineers, planning detailed design phases, reviewing coastal structures, and supervising coastal works while maintaining quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience applying coastal engineering principles to design and analysis.
• Knowledge of shore protection, breakwaters and living shorelines.
• Ability to develop construction documents and cost estimates.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with engineers and support services.
• Plan and manage detailed engineering phases for coastal projects.
• Supervise coastal works and ensure quality control.
