Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Co-Pack environment is essential.
  • Experience in a food warehouse is preferred.

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Co-Pack Production Manager, the Co-Pack Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a Co-Pack area with up to 50 teammates. They will need to maintain a safe, productive, and positive environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee team of up to 50 teammates in production area
  • Plan, assign and follow-up on work activities in your areas and meet required goals
  • Train employees, obtain performance results, organize and assign work, and maintain productive, safe and motivating environment
  • Health & Safety management–ensure operations procedures, equipment and facilities are in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maximizes quality and productivity by understanding job standards for each function and evaluating performance variances to identify root cause and corrective action
  • Participate in collection of performance measurements consistent with customer and site requirements
  • Implement and actively ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure inventory integrity. Perform timely reconciliations on work orders. Research and resolve discrepancies as necessary
  • Manage resources–equipment and assets and develop control tools that ensure accountability
  • Manages labor hours and payroll
  • Effectively problem solve, delegate and follow-up on tasks assigned to Team Members
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, Red Prairie)
  • 2-5 years supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in Co-Pack environment a must
  • Experience in a food warehouse environment a plus
  • Experience with PackManager a plus
