Job summary

Nutrien is offering a co-op opportunity for a student in Calgary or Saskatoon, starting December 2026 or January 2027 for about 12 months. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position designed for students who will return to their studies after the work term.

You will join the tax team to prepare Canadian tax returns, assist with forecasting, and support audits. Enrolled in a 4-year Accounting major is required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's degree program with a major in Accounting.
• Financial literacy and attention to detail are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Canadian tax returns and potash production tax work alongside the tax team.
• Contribute to tax forecasting and reporting by gathering and reviewing financial information.
• Support tax audits and compliance reviews by organizing documents and responding to inquiries.

What You’ll Do

• Help prepare Canadian tax and potash production returns, working alongside our tax team to meet government requirements
• Assist with tax forecasting and reporting by helping gather and review financial information used for planning
• Support the team during tax audits and other compliance reviews by collecting documents and responding to questions from tax authorities
