BDO is seeking a Co-op Student or Intern to join our Risk Advisory Services team in Calgary from May to August 2027. You will support client initiatives, assist with internal audits, IT controls, and risk reviews while gaining hands-on experience in a professional services environment.

You’ll build relationships with clients, communicate progress clearly, and grow your technical and professional skills through mentorship and CPA-related opportunities.

Your Opportunity

Our Vancouver/Calgary offices are looking for a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Risk Advisory Services team from May to August 2027. This is a net new role and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering individual client initiatives for the delivery of risk advisory services, including internal audit, enterprise risk management, internal controls assessments and IT controls audits.
  • Establish & maintain a trusted advisor strong relationship with clients, delivering high quality, professional & responsive service.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and team members regarding project progress updates and issues.

Your experience and education
  • You are currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in Accounting and/or business technology
  • You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
  • You have proven leadership skill and can take initiative to seek understanding
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

The expected compensation range for this role is $48,000-$60,000.
