Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education or master's program in business management, communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to distill information from multiple sources.
- Excellent written communication skills, with attention to clarity, tone, and inclusivity.
- Familiarity with principles of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, plain language writing, and accessibility standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive environmental scan of major North American cities.
- Research and gather municipal guidelines related to EDI, plain language, and accessibility.
- Draft and finalize an Inclusive Content and Accessibility Standards Guideline.
- Provide strategic recommendations for document rollout across City departments.
