Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton LLP in North Bay, Ontario, invites students to join as a Co-op, Assurance for Summer 2027. You will develop client relationships, assist on audit engagements, and contribute to accounting services including payroll and tax work. A CPA path is encouraged and a vehicle is required.

This role supports a culture of professional growth within a global firm, with in-office collaboration four days per week and competitive compensation for a co-op placement.

Responsibilities

• Developing deep client relationships by working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service.
• Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial issues.
• Building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in our growing practice.
• Assisting on audit and review engagements across a variety of industries.
• Providing accounting services, including planning and executing review and compilation engagement, drafting of financial statements, financial analysis, and assistance with payroll and HST calculations.
• Completion of personal and corporate tax returns and responding to related CRA requests for information.

To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $47,500-$52,500 in North Bay, ON. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
