Orion Machining and Design Inc in Lloydminster, Alberta, seeks a skilled Machining Tool Operator to join our CNC milling team. You will study job orders, read blueprints, set up and operate Haas and Mazak mills, and perform routine maintenance to ensure precision and quality.

Minimum 3 years of experience and a high school diploma are required; a vocational diploma is a plus. Fluent English is expected for clear communication on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; vocational diploma asset.
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience required.
• Knowledge of Haas and Mazak mills.

Responsabilités

• Study job orders to understand machining operations to be performed.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts
• Study blueprints and specifications, or sample parts to determine the required operations on the CNC Mills
• Set up and operate machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations.
• Ensure routine maintenance on the machines.
• Conventional machining may be required at times.
