Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Powermill Programmer
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience with programming and operating 3 Axis and 5 Axis machines
  • Working knowledge with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
  • Knowledge of FPT/FCS work holding
  • Experience with Hermle 5 Axis machines and Erowa robotic pallet systems is considered an asset
  • Capable of recognizing and solving problems
  • Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform your work duties in a professional and safe manner.
  • Program and operate multiple CNC machines
  • Review samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output
  • Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job
  • Select appropriate machines and position/load material for a job
  • Determine and program size of batches, speed of machine, etc
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages
