Job summary

Downsview Kitchens in North Mississauga is seeking a CNC Operator with 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines for wood cabinetry. The role focuses on setup, tool selection, material loading, and ensuring quality throughout production.

You will join a team of designers, technicians, craftsmen, finishers, and artisans in a family-run, market-leading environment that values safety and top-tier craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Ability to read shop drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a CNC router for producing wood cabinets and fixtures.
• Select, set up, install, and adjust tools.
• Load and set materials into CNC router (Thermwood).
• Measure and monitor quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintain specifications during cutting operations, take measurements, detect malfunctions, and replace worn tools.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements and following maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the workspace neat and complying with established policies and procedures.
