Job summary

Steelhaus Technologies Inc in Calgary, AB is hiring a CNC Technician Level 1 to set up and operate CNC Lathe and Mill, load programs, and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading technical drawings, measuring parts, and performing routine maintenance while following PPE and shop procedures. Shifts are afternoons and weekends in the NE Calgary area.

You will contribute to efficient production and on-time delivery in a fast-growing completions environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of quality and safety standards.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg and work in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Lathe and Mill and perform tool wear offset adjustments.
• Load materials and verify correct size using measuring tools.
• Read traveler documents and ensure safe, correct setups.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area tidy.
• Identify worn tooling and replace inserts as needed.
• Perform quality checks against drawings and track measurements.
