Job Title: CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can read and interpret blueprints to effectively carry out machining duties. The ideal candidate should be capable of setting up machines and performing basic troubleshooting independently. This role involves working on both mills and lathes.

Job Description

Read and interpret blueprints to complete daily machining tasks, set up machines and perform basic troubleshooting autonomously, and operate both mills and lathes efficiently.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of CNC Machinist experience.
• 5+ years of consistent blueprint reading experience.
• Proven experience in GD&T.
• Experience within aerospace, nuclear, and medical device industries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience on both Mills & Lathes is advantageous.
• Possession of a Machinist ticket is a plus.
• Programming experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

Our machine shop is equipped with 70% brand new machines. The position involves a weekend day shift from Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with a total of 40 hours.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vaughan, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
