Job summary

A leading hospitality group in British Columbia seeks a Sales Professional to develop and implement sales strategies that align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hotel sales experience in luxury environments and a strong network in the travel trade. This role involves driving revenue growth and managing key accounts, along with networking and collaboration across teams. Exceptional communication skills and flexibility to travel are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably within luxury or resort environments.
  • Experience handling multi-property portfolios is an advantage.
  • Strong network within luxury leisure, travel trade, or corporate market segments.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to travel internationally for sales missions and trade events.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.

Job Description
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and implement cluster-wide sales strategies aligned with the business goals of both properties.
  • Drive revenue growth across all segments—leisure, luxury wholesale, OTA, corporate, and MICE.
  • Identify new markets, trends, and business opportunities to maximize occupancy and ADR.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory.
Account Management & Business Development
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and grow existing relationships through regular communication, sales calls, and familiarization trips.
  • Acquire new accounts through proactive sales efforts, trade shows, roadshows, and market visits.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and ensure accurate account segmentation and reporting.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts and negotiate agreements according to brand standards.
Representation & Networking
  • Represent both resorts at local and international trade shows, exhibitions, travel fairs, and sales missions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with travel advisors, DMCs, tour operators, and partners.
  • Act as brand ambassador for both properties, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with Marketing, Reservations, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on packages, promotions, and guest experience expectations.
  • Coordinate cross-property initiatives to increase brand visibility and reinforce the unique selling points of each resort.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates are shared with internal teams regarding market trends, competitor insights, and sales performance.
Reporting & Administration
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, market intelligence updates, and business reviews.
  • Maintain data accuracy, including account activities, production, and opportunity tracking.
  • Monitor performance against targets and initiate strategic actions to address gaps.

We are recruiting this role for Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles & Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas. This position reports to the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing.
