School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking Casual Learning Support Workers to assist students in the Fraser Lake area.

This casual role has no guaranteed hours and requires working with school and district staff to support individual student needs. The successful candidate will help deliver regular or alternate education programs, advocate for students, and participate in school-based teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate).
• Completion of an Education Assistant Certificate program.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children/youth with intellectual, behavioral, or multiple disabilities.
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record (driver’s abstract required).
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.

Position Summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Learning Support Workers to support students in the Fraser Lake area. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Work with school and district staff to support the individual needs of students

Note: Applicants without the required certification will be considered Uncertified and compensated at the corresponding rate. Should you not have the required qualifications, you will be paid at the Uncertified Learning Support Worker rate ($26.72).

The successful applicant must complete a Criminal Record Check through the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP). Criminal Record Checks Checks through local RCMP detachments will not be accepted.
