General Bank of Canada is looking for a permanent, fulltime Cloud Systems Administrator to join as a key contributor with the Bank’s Data, Technology & innovation team. Consistent with the growth trajectory of the Bank, this is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to contribute to building the Bank of the future with considerable potential for learning, growth, and advancement.
Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Computing, the Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing General Bank of Canada's (GBC) cloud‑based infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environment. This role works closely with other members of the DTI Enterprise Computing Services team and business users on projects and improvements to GBC systems, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. Acting as an escalation point for the GBC Help Desk, the Cloud Systems Administrator resolves complex issues within their areas of responsibility and provides expert guidance.
