Job summary

Amazon’s S3 team is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to help design, build, and operate services that route billions of requests per minute across a globally distributed fleet. You will own critical pieces of the DNS, networking, and connectivity stack, delivering highly available solutions for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable services for S3 Distribution Plane across DNS, IP, TLS, and connectivity.
• Lead design reviews and participate in operations discussions to improve durability and availability.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with AWS teams to drive reliability and performance.
