Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a Cloud Architect to design scalable, secure cloud solutions across Azure and AWS in Toronto. You will lead cloud migration programs and develop reference architectures to guide modernization efforts.

Responsibilities include defining security, IAM, networking, and governance, while driving automation with Terraform, CI/CD, and IaC practices. You will collaborate with DevOps, Security, and application teams to deliver robust cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Design scalable, secure cloud solutions across Azure and AWS.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives with assessments, wave planning, modernization and execution.
• Develop reference architectures, HLD/LLD, and cloud design patterns.
• Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, load balancing, and monitoring.
• Deploy and manage PaaS services like AKS/EKS, App Services and managed databases.

• Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, load balancing, and monitoring.
• Deploy and manage PaaS services, including AKS/EKS, App Services, Functions/Lambda, and managed databases.
• Define and enforce cloud security, IAM/RBAC, encryption, and governance frameworks.
• Architect hybrid connectivity, including VNet/VPC, VPN, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect.
• Drive automation using Terraform, Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams and provide technical leadership.
