Job summary

Numeris is seeking a hands-on Cloud Security Engineer to build, configure, tune, and operate security technologies, with a primary focus on Microsoft 365 E5. You will work directly in the platforms, investigate security events, write queries and automation, and continuously improve our security capabilities across Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS.

In this deeply technical role you will monitor CSPM tooling, drive Secure Score improvements, triage risks, and collaborate with DevOps to translate

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity / cloud security experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security portals (Entra ID, Defender, Purview).
• Familiar with AWS and/or Azure core security principles (IAM, security groups, hardening).
• Experience managing security intake, risk exceptions, and SOPs/runbooks.
• Collaborates with IT/DevOps to remediate vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CSPM tooling across AWS, Azure, and M365 for misconfigurations.
• Improve Microsoft Secure Score and enforce posture enhancements.
• Coordinate remediation tasks with DevOps and IT teams.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, security guidelines, and SOPs.
• Support security operations with alert triage and incident follow-up.
