Job summary

Global Talent Alliance is seeking an experienced Java Backend Software Engineer to join our North American team and help build cloud security products. You’ll work alongside backend and full-stack engineers to deliver scalable cloud applications, write clean code, and solve challenging cybersecurity problems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Java, strong communication, and the ability to work with remote teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with remote teams across time zones.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, dev-ops, data scientists, QA and product management in Agile development.
• Draft design proposals for new security solutions.
• Write and maintain well-designed Java code.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues in production.
• Apply best practices for software development and cloud security.
