General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, cloud-agnostic infrastructure, and scalable, maintainable systems across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and related tools to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash).
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; infrastructure as code with Ansible, Terraform, Packer.
• Observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana); version control (Git).
• Strong Linux/Unix background; familiar with SDLC and networking concepts.
• Experience across at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
• Design and implement cloud-agnostic infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure and applications.
• Manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Ensure system availability, scalability, and reliability across cloud platforms.
• Prototype and roll out new tools to support DevOps automation.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance measures are applied.
• Configure and maintain networks, devices, and infrastructure.
• Automate provisioning and configuration across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Develop scripts and tests to deploy solutions and automate tasks.
• Develop automated tests for new/updated functionality.
