TheGlobal Risk andTreasuryTechnologyteam provides development and support services for Group Treasury (includingStructural Interest Rate Risk management, Asset/Liability Management, Funds Transfer Pricing,Liquidity Risk,Stress Testing) and Global Risk Management (Global Retail/Corporate/CommercialCredit Risk,Counterparty CreditRisk, Operational/Non-Operational RiskManagement).

The Role

• We are looking for aData Engineer with a foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a strong interest in financial data domains. This role will support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and contribute to data integration efforts across finance and treasury systems. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about working in a data-driven financial environment.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Assistin building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, andBigQuery.
• Support data integration and transformation tasks across Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and GCPBigQuery.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Helpmonitorand troubleshoot data workflows to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Participate in data quality checks, documentation, and version control practices.
• Contribute to projects involving financial data such as cash flow, liquidity, general ledger, and regulatory reporting.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

• 3+years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related field (internships or co-op experience welcome).
• Basicproficiencyin SQL and familiarity with SQL Server or Azure SQL Database.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory,BigQuery, or other cloud-based data tools.
• Understanding of data concepts such as ETL, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Interest or academic background in finance, accounting, or treasury operations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SSIS, Databricks, or Python for data processing.
• Familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or GCP) through coursework or certifications.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
