Väderstad is seeking a skilled Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications and services. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions aligned with our digital transformation initiatives.

Preferred candidates have a BS in CS/SE and 3+ years in C# / ASP.NET cloud development, with strong cloud platform experience and containerization skills (Docker/Kubernetes). On-site work in a collaborative environment is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in C# / ASP.NET cloud application development.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP).
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud security, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices with modern frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, React, Angular).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Monitor, scale, and secure applications; collaborate with DevOps and security teams.
• Troubleshoot issues in cloud environments and document designs and procedures.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in C# / ASP.NET cloud application development.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud security principles and identity management.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven architecture.

Core Competencies

• Cloud certifications (e.g. Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer).
• Experience with serverless computing (e.g. Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.

Accountabilities

• Design and implement cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain APIs and microservices using modern frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, React, Angular).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and data teams to ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments.
• Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.

Work Conditions

• Primarily a typical office working environment
• Shop exposure is required during the prototyping and testing phases
• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
• Work is performed in a combination of environments which require the usage of Personal Protective Equipment
• This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes and oils
• Job anxiety, tension and mental stress can occur from time to time in meeting deadlines, confrontation, interruptions, long meetings and responding to general duties
• Overtime as required
