A provincial government agency in British Columbia is seeking a Team Assistant to support the wellbeing of children and families. This full-time role involves providing vital administrative support and ensuring a welcoming environment. The Haida Gwaii team is a small, close-knit group of professionals committed to supporting the safety and wellbeing of children, youth, and families in partnership with the Haida Nation and local service providers. Though the team is largely new, it is grounded in strong collaboration, mutual respect, and a supportive work environment that values balance and community connection.
The Team Assistant role provides vital administrative support to a dedicated group of professionals working to enhance the wellbeing of children, youth, and families in Haida Gwaii. As the first point of contact for many clients, the Team Assistant plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment while developing a broad range of skills and contributing to meaningful, community-centered work.
