About the Job

The Clinical Practice Leader is responsible for designing and overseeing pharmaceutical care, including, the supervision and coordination of clinical activities among skilled pharmacists, formulating and upholding practice standards and ensuring the delivery of top-tier care at Royal Inland Hospital.

This position is an opportunity to collaborate with local and regional pharmacy leaders, managers, intensivists, respirologists, and nursing leaders. Achieving overarching goals and objectives, advancing departmental and regional pharmacy initiatives.

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.00) opportunity, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.

Qualfications
  • Graduation from an accredited faculty of Pharmacy program and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia;
  • Successful completion of a Canadian hospital pharmacy residency program. Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a recognized university;
  • Five years clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting, including two years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience; and
  • Eligible for membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
