Royal Inland Hospital is seeking to hire a Relief full-time Clinical Practice Educator, located in Kamloops, B.C. The ideal candidate will have Hemodialysis and teaching/mentoring experience. This position will support Williams Lake community dialysis unit (at CAMH) and Kamloops community dialysis unit. Travel will be required as needed. Multiple platforms are utilized to support our remote units with minimal travel requirements.
Shift Times: Days 07:30 to 15:30
Days off: Rotating
Position end date: November 11, 2026 or until return of incumbent.

The Clinical Practice Educator (CPE) incorporates the core concepts of person and family-centered care (respect, dignity, information sharing, participation, and collaboration) and provides visible, accessible clinical support by acting as an education resource for staff in the clinical area(s). Using nursing & specialized theory and knowledge, develops, implements, and evaluates a range of formal/ informal educational programs and learning plans for direct care nursing staff, including individual and group learning assessments and opportunities. Consults, confers, and collaborates with others in the promotion of a quality practice & learning environment, continuous quality improvement, resolution of clinical education issues, and coordination of activities required for progressive educational and clinical practice programs. Takes supportive action with respect to individual and group learning needs as required. Integrates the nursing designation (RN, RPN, LPN) and area specific competencies into professional practice and education.
