Qualifications

  • Active practising license in good standing with Nova Scotia College of Nursing required.
  • Minimum three years of full-time clinical experience within last five years in Emergency nursing required.
  • CNA Certification/other specialty certification required or willing to complete.
  • BLS-C (HCP) certification required.
  • Recent experience as a Clinical Nurse Educator/Nursing Instructor preferred.

  • Responsible for the assessment, implementation, planning, evaluation of clinical knowledge.
  • Provide advice and support to advance practice and to maintain evidence-based standards of care.
  • Foster a culture of learning to build capacity and support professional practice.
