Job summary

A local educational institution is seeking a Clinical Instructor for the Living Classroom PSW Program to support student learning in long-term care settings. The role includes organizing clinical placements, facilitating learning opportunities, and providing feedback to students. The successful candidate will be an RN or RPN with at least two years of experience and strong organizational and communication skills. This position requires a client-service approach and the ability to manage a diverse learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with SMART Goal setting.
• Ability to manage unexpected situations and requests.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of PSW Clinical placements.
• Represent UGDSB at LTC placements.
• Hold clinical post-conferences for PSW students.
• Manage clinical documentation and evaluations.
