An educational institution in Hamilton is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Instructor for its Nursing program. The role involves facilitating student learning in clinical settings, offering constructive feedback, and maintaining an effective learning environment. Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, possess clinical experience, and be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Status: Part Time
Hours: Teaching is normally scheduled between 8:00am and 10:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Start Rate: Upon hire, Human Resources will conduct a rate calculation based on completed education and work experience to determine the step within the range as per the Collective Agreement.

The School of Health, Nursing Department, is looking for Part time Clinical Instructors to support the following program areas:
Clinical Instructors play a key role in facilitating student learning in clinical and lab settings. They ensure students understand course objectives (as outlined in the course manual or syllabus), instructional approaches, and evaluation methods. Instruction is delivered according to the prescribed course format and complements the theory taught in lectures by program faculty.
The Clinical Instructor is responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that effectively utilizes available resources and incorporates professional experience to help students achieve the educational objectives of the assigned courses.
Under the direction of the Associate Dean, Nursing, Clinical Instructors provide academic support and maintain an effective learning environment for all students.
