Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Dietitian or in a nutrition related profession.
• Current active registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba.
• Current Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1 or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, accessible and sustainable people-centered health care.
• Support onboarding process for new dietitians upon hire.
• Comply with the physical and mental demands of the job.

Skills

Knowledge of the Manitoba Long Term Care Standards

Knowledge of behavior change counselling

Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques

Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail

Demonstrated organizational, communication and leadership skills

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutritional Sciences

Graduate of a recognized dietetic internship program
