A First Nation Health Department is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to manage, coordinate, and support primary care clients in Ontario. The candidate must be an RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience in patient care, possess strong computer skills, and will be responsible for organizing clinical appointments and managing health care team interactions. This role offers flexibility and requires effective communication in a team environment.
Position Summary :
Wasauksing First Nation is accepting applications for a Clinical Coordinator. The Wasauksing First Nation-Health Department is seeking an innovative, highly motivated and energetic team player for the position of a permanent ClinicalCoordinator-RN. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, monitoring and supporting primary care clients; setting up clinical appointments; exam room bookings and ensuring that the supplies for primary care are monitored and ordered in collaboration with the needs of all primary care staff under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner. Other duties include maintaining a confidential multidisciplinary EMR, providing daily support to all professionals utilizing the system, and representing the Data Management Committee of the IPHCC. Communication is key when individuals/groups enter into the Health Department; the individual will be expected to assist clients, their families, all health staff, visiting professionals and visiting agencies while maintaining a well organized and clean reception and greeting area.
