- The Clinical Business Analyst (Oncology) will play a key role in the development, refinement, and implementation of clinical standards within oncology.
- The role involves conducting a detailed review of existing business requirements, collaborating with clinical experts, and ensuring effective integration of business and IT solutions to support the clinical standardization project.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a detailed review of existing business requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical experts to gather input and insights for developing and refining clinical standards.
- Design and facilitate workshops and validation sessions to review existing requirements and collect new business and IT requirements, including performing gap analyses.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation such as workflows, use cases, user guides, and training materials to support the adoption of clinical standards.
- Perform comprehensive analysis of business and client requirements to support the development, operations, and deployment of clinical standardization projects.
- Recommend and implement solutions to meet defined objectives and monitor their effectiveness.
- Build, validate, and test clinical content within the Clinical Information System (CIS).
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure smooth delivery, stakeholder communication, and successful implementation of the clinical standardization project.
Requirements/Must Have
- University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of oncology-related education and experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst, responsible for oncology-related requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case and business process analysis, detailed design activities, and documentation.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS) and healthcare operations related to oncology.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst in health information systems or CIS implementation projects, particularly involving oncology.
- Must be available to start work as per the client’s specified project timeline.
