Job summary

Clearpoint Health Network is seeking a Clinic Coordinator for Canadian Surgery Solutions in Calgary to coordinate surgeon clinics with the WCB, manage waitlists and records, and support timely surgical cycles. You will liaise with physicians, nurses and diagnostic centers while ensuring privacy compliance.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years current experience in a medical office setting.
  • Ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Effective organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates booking and communication of appointments, tests, and assessments as directed by physician and WCB.
  • Manages surgical waitlists and scheduling procedures with timely follow-up.
  • Establishes relationships with WCB Case Managers, physicians, nurses and diagnostic centers.
  • Follow-up on patient progress and communicate outcomes within established time frames.
  • Maintain and organize patient medical records and provide staff training as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for program management.
