Job summary

Diagram is seeking an Analyst or Associate, Venture Creation to help launch new ventures in ClimateTech. You will work directly with Diagram Partners and potential founders to develop ideas, build MVPs, and secure pilot customers while shaping a diverse portfolio.

The role offers hands-on exposure to venture-building at a premier climate-focused platform, with opportunities to engage with the broader Diagram ecosystem, participate in events, and contribute to a fast-growing, collaborative team

Qualifications

• Proven entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and a self-starter attitude.
• 1-3 years of work experience in early stage venture capital, product management, design-thinking, engineering or tech startups.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; ability to build financial models and conduct market sizing.
• Familiarity with AI technologies to aid decarbonisation or climate resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop in-depth investment theses and perspectives on opportunity areas.
• Generate and pitch new venture ideas.
• Conduct user and market research, market sizing, competitive landscape, and unit economics analysis.
• Develop pitch decks and investment memos.
• Own the work plan and lead the venture during pre-seedactivities.
• Pitch ideas to founders and build relationships with founders.
• Contribute to Diagram's culture and brand in the community.
