Job description

We are seeking a Client Specialist to join our Benefits by Design team.

The Client Specialist will :
  • Maintain regular communication with brokers to ensure their group needs are met plus build relationships.
  • Pricing preparing and executing plan changes.
  • Pull and prepare experience reports including more detailed reports for larger groups.
  • Assist with commission and contracting issues.
  • Manage the submission and tracking of all MGA appointment letters.
  • Manage and process the submission on Agent of Record letters.
  • Manage the submission of termination letters.
  • Manage overdue account notifications and pending terminations due to minimum participation requirements.
To be a successful Client Specialist you will need :
  • Completion of a post-secondary education.
  • 1 years of experience in data entry or administrative roles preferably in Group Benefits.
  • Excellent command of the English language including strong written and verbal communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Group Insurance principles and assessment techniques.
  • High degree of ownership and commitment to work quickly and accurately in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time-management skills and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
All-star candidates will have :
  • GBA designation under CEBS program
  • Bilingualism in both official languages English & French
